Ordering:

  • All prices are listed in US dollars.
  • Payment is accepted by check, money order, or credit card via PayPal.
  • Orders are shipped out based on availability. Most items are in stock but others are backordered and your order will be shipped once all items have arrived (typically up to 1 week).
  • By sending payment you accept these terms and agree to all charges.
  • You can check the status of your order by visiting http://vimmslair.com/login/.

 

Used Games:

  • All products consist of the cartridge only.  Boxes and manuals may be purchased if available.
  • Games may contain writing, scratches, or other markings created by previous owners.  Any considerable damage will be noted before shipping.
  • All games are cleaned and tested before shipping.  If you feel a game is defective and wish to return it, please see the Returns section for details.
  • All games, consoles, and accessories are US releases unless stated otherwise.

 

Magic Cards:

  • All cards are in mint condition unless noted otherwise.

 

Payment Information:

  • Checks or money orders should be addressed to Vimm's Lair and sent to the address at the top of this page.
  • When mailing payments you must include your order number!
  • Unpaid orders are canceled after a period of one month.

 

Shipping (USA):

  • Vault Store
    • Orders under 13 ounces may be shipped via either USPS First Class Mail or Priority Mail, both with Delivery Confirmation.
    • All orders over 13 ounces are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation (1-3 days).
    • Shipping rate is the actual postage based on the estimated weight and distance of the shipment.  First Class Mail rate includes $.55 for delivery confirmation and $.75 for packaging.
  • Magic Store
    • All orders up to 13 ounces are shipped via USPS First Class Mail (1-3 days).
    • Orders over 13 ounces are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation (2-3 days).
    • Shipping is $.95 + $.05 per card up to $4.05 (one pound).  Booster packs are counted as 5 cards.
    • Shipping for orders over 13 ounces is the actual postage based on the estimated weight and distance of the shipment.
    • Cards are packaged in thick sleeves or cases, depending on quantity.
  • Shipments are sent out every business day.
  • Shipments originate from or near Columbia, Maryland.

 

Shipping (International):

  • Vault Store
    • Shipping rate includes postage plus $.75 for packaging.
    • Postage is determined based on the estimated weight and distance of the shipment.
  • Magic Store
    • Shipping is $1.92 + $.08 per card.  Booster packs are counted as 5 cards.
    • Cards are packaged in thick sleeves or cases, depending on quantity.
  • Orders are sent via USPS Global Airmail Parcel Post (4-7 days).
  • Custom forms for international packages will be marked as "merchandise", not as "gift" or "sample".
  • Orders may be shipped to any country on the USPS shipping list.
  • Shipments are sent out every business day.
  • Shipments originate from or near Columbia, Maryland USA.

 

Cancellations:

  • A 5% fee will be assessed for refunds on settled payments.
  • Orders which have been shipped cannot be cancelled.  Instead, you'll have to do a return.

 

Returns:

  • All returns must be made within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date.
  • Items must be shipped with all original contents and in excellent condition to the address at the top of this page.
  • Shipment must be via USPS with delivery confirmation at your expense, otherwise you are responsible if the shipment is lost or damaged.
  • A 5% fee will be assessed for refunds and shipping/handling will not be refunded.
  • If we verify the item to be defective it will be replaced.  If a replacement is not available a full refund will be issued.  The shipping cost paid will be included in the refund.
  • You will be mailed a check within 30 days.

 

Privacy Information:

We will not rent, sell, or distribute your name, address, email address, or any other personal information to any third party without your expressed permission.  However, should a situation arise where we are required by law or the legal process to provide information about you, we must fully comply.

 

Merchandise availability:

Certain items are in stock, ordered after you order, or out of stock altogether.  Due to the fact that most items for sale are no longer manufactured, supplies are likely to run out without notice.  In the event this happens you will be refunded the full amount for that item plus shipping for that item.

If an order cannot be filled within two weeks you will be given a choice of canceling your order, sending part of your order and canceling the rest, or waiting for the entire order to arrive.

All prices are subject to change without notice.

 

Purpose:

The purpose of this store is to raise money to keep Vimm's Lair running.  All proceeds go towards paying site costs and/or purchasing new inventory.
